Naturopathic ConsultationThe Naturopathic consultation is built around
listening to each individual’s health story.
This process of being listened to and heard is often therapeutic in
itself. During an initial
consultation, an in-depth and detailed case history is taken to gain a
wholistic sense of a person’s health picture.
An initial consultation generally is 1 1/2 - 2 hours in length. At the conclusion of the initial
consultation, a Naturopathic healing plan is formulated. Naturopathic Medicine recognizes and
respects that each person is unique and therefore the healing plan that is
developed must be reflective of each person’s individuality. The healing plan is based on each
individual’s goals, abilities, and interests. The healing plan is also designed so each
person feels comfortable with it and is ready to integrate it into their
daily life. A person’s healing plan
will change and develop as they continue to move forward on their journey
with Naturopathic Medicine. Follow-up
consultations to gauge the changes that have occurred in a person’s health
concerns generally last 30 - 60 minutes.
The frequency and number of follow-up consultations is dependent on
each individual case. CONSULTATION

Consultation $60.00 *Although Naturopathic Medicine is not covered by
Alberta Health Care, many extended insurance plans now offer coverage. It is recommended that one investigate the
coverage for which they may be eligible. *Because these rates may make Naturopathic services
inaccessible for some, an alternative payment plan or a sliding scale can be
discussed on an individual basis. |
