About Jackie Yurko: Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine

Jackie Yurko is a licensed Naturopath currently practicing in the Queen Alexandra neighbourhood of Edmonton, Alberta located on Treaty 6 Territory.  

She graduated from the four year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in May 2000, successfully completed the North American Board of Naturopathic Education licensing exams in August 2000, and has been practicing since the fall of 2000.  She is currently licensed by the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta. 

She completed the SIBO Pro Course through Allison Siebecker ND in 2021 and the Naturopathic and Functional Medicine Approaches to Gastrointestinal Disorders Course in 2026 and is a Certified Healthy Gut Practitioner through the Microbiome Restoration Centre. 

Her primary interest lies in supporting people in strengthening and building their overall health in ways that are easier on their body and on the earth.  Her work focuses on supporting a number of different body systems with a special interest in supporting overall healthy digestive function and microbiome balance as well as healthy hormonal balance.
